Why the name?

Because that's my name and I couldn't - and still can't - think of anything else.

I retired at the beginning of 2008 (early!) and have now set up a small business which does what it says in the logo.

My background is sales and marketing and I was previously the Managing Director of a global supplier of laboratory analytical instruments.

In my retirement in Reach, Cambridgeshire (hence some of the pictures on the site) I've been refurbishing our home, using the power of the internet to identify the plumbers, electricians, bricklayers and decorators that I needed.  Some had their details on local supplier websites but it was always the ones who had their own website, however small, that gave me the most confidence.

So I decided to offer my services to small businesses - creating and maintaining websites for them.
