I should first of all introduce myself and tell you what I do . . . .

My background is sales and marketing and I was previously the Managing Director of a global supplier of laboratory analytical instruments.  I retired early, at the beginning of 2008 and have now set up this small business which does what it says in the logo.

In my retirement in Reach, near Cambridge, I've been refurbishing our home, using the power of the internet to identify the plumbers, electricians, bricklayers and decorators that I needed.  Some had their details on local supplier websites but it was always the ones who had their own website, however small, that gave me the most confidence.

So I decided to offer my services to small businesses - designing and maintaining websites for them.
